BioMark 48.48 Dynamic
Arrays
BioMark™ dynamic arrays deliver a new level of efficiency for TaqMan® PCR assays. Rather
than endless liquid transfer steps to set up each and every assay, dynamic
arrays have an on-chip network of channels, chambers, and valves that
automatically assemble the PCR reactions. The key to this efficiency: A dynamic
array requires pipetting steps equal to N (samples) added to M (assays), but it delivers data points equal to N multiplied by M—an
exponential reduction in work compared to microwell plates. Current versions of
the chip accept 48 samples and 48 primer/probe sets and deliver 2,304 assays.
