Guo Fu was a pioneer in China in the use of mass cytometry (the basis of CyTOF technology) and Imaging Mass Cytometry to study immunology and oncology. He studies T cell memory and exhaustion in viral infection and tumor models as well as immunotherapy development for leukemia and lymphoma. In this lecture, Fu will discuss the advantages and challenges of IMC based on his research experience.

In this seminar, Hui Hui, Field Application Specialist, will introduce an innovative mass cytometry application, the Maxpar Direct Immune Profiling System, which provides a complete sample-to-answer solution for high-parameter immune monitoring. The system provides 30 markers in one tube with 5-minute data analysis, enabling enumeration of 37 immune cell populations. The run to run and site to site performance results of the assay will be presented.
