Anti-Human CD200 (OX-104)-149Sm—100 Tests

CD200, also known as OX2, is a type 1a transmembrane cell surface glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD200 is expressed in tissues of the central nervous system and testis, in addition to leukocytes including T and B lymphocytes. In the immune system, CD200 plays a role in promoting peripheral tolerance and protecting immune-privileged sites. CD200 induces immunosuppression through engagement with CD200R (OX2R), which is expressed on leukocytes of myeloid lineage, including mast cells, macrophages, basophils, dendritic cells, and some T cell populations. Increased CD200 expression has also been associated with an increased frequency of regulatory T (Treg) cells in patients with acute myeloid leukemia.
