Anti-Human CD66a/c/e (ASL-32)-149Sm—100 Tests

The ASL-32 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to an antigen epitope shared by CD66a, c and e. CD66a/c/e are members of the CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) family of the Ig superfamily. CD66a, also known as CEACAM1 and BGP (biliary glycoprotein), is primarily expressed on granulocytes. CD66c, also known as CEACAM6 and NCA, is expressed on both granulocytes and epithelial cells. CD66e, also known as CEA or CEACAM5, is mainly found on epithelial cells. CD66 antigens belong to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family of molecules, which are closely related to the immunoglobulin superfamily of glycoproteins. There has been evidence that CEA family members are involved in transmembrane signaling and activation of neutrophils.
