CD62L, also known as L-selectin or LECAM-1, is a 74–95 kDa type I glycoprotein. It is a cell adhesion molecule expressed on most peripheral blood B cells, subsets of T and NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes, and certain hematopoietic malignant cells. It plays an important role for the homing of naive lymphocytes to immune tissues.
