Anti-Human CD192/CCR2 (K036C2)-153Eu—100 Tests

CD192, also known as chemokine receptor CCR2, is expressed mainly by inflammatory monocytes, and binds two ligands, CCL2 and CCL7. CCR2. Its ligands play a role in recruiting inflammatory monocytes into target tissues, where they differentiate into proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory macrophages and promote tissue injury and remodeling, respectively. CCR2 and its ligands are also critically important in mobilizing monocytes from the bone marrow (BM) into the bloodstream under both physiological and pathological conditions. CCR2 has thus been recognized as an attractive potential target in the treatment of macrophage-mediated chronic diseases such as atherosclerosis.
