Anti-Human CD94 (HP-3D9)-174Yb—100 Tests

The HP-3D9 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to a 70 kDa disulfide-linked dimer, also known as Kp43 or CD94. It is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells, NKT cells, and subsets of CD8+ T cells and gamma delta T cells. Up-regulation of CD94 expression appears to correlate with NK cell activation. CD94 is expressed as a heterodimer with members of the NKG2 family of receptors on the cell surface. CD94 dimerization with NKG2A results in an inhibitory receptor that leads to suppression of NK cell function. Conversely, CD94 association with NKG2C and NKG2E creates an activating receptor complex, which binds to DAP12, an adapter protein containing an ITAM motif.
