Anti-Mouse CD41 (MWReg30)-143Nd—100 Tests

CD41, also known as integrin αIIb, is a transmembrane glycoprotein and is commonly used as a marker of platelets and megakaryocytes. Furthermore, CD41 marks the onset of murine primitive and definitive hematopoiesis. CD41 associates with CD61 (integrin β3) to form a complex that interact with fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, and thrombin. CD41 is an important molecule in platelet biology. Its major function is contributing to expansion of clot formation and platelet adhesion to the microvasculature. CD41 can be used in combination with CD150 and CD48 to identify CD150+CD48-CD41- hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
